i love love

In Latin the word amica means girlfriend. The noun is amor (to love). It is interesting that the word for friend amicus and the word for friendship amicitia come from the same root. Amāre is sometimes used for love and like.

This was made so clear to me today, the line between friendship and love is so blurred. And, to be honest, I do love my friends. Like, properly love them.

I have been shown so much love today. Love between friends, love between families, and even stranger love.
It makes me happy.

I was having a kinda rough day, and a few people were bitching about me, and making me feel unworthy, but the people that really mattered to me, they showed me what it really means to be called a friend.

LOVE.

It comes in many different forms, and I am so lucky to go to a school where love is around me everyday. When people first come to my art academy, they are a little freaked out by us. We are very 'hands on' and show a LOT of affection for each other. But as soon as you have been there even a small amount of time, you feel that you have to hold back all this affection for your other friends who don't understand how to share it yet.

I wouldn't trade it for the world.
And I would just like to say thank you for being there.
