how strange do you think i am?

This is so true.
At least for me anyways.
And I figure for the majority of most of my friends.

But you know what? I don't care.
We are who we are, and nothing anyone does is ever going to change that. :)

I get sent so much music. It is really cool. :)
Seriously, my music tastes have been educated so much in the past year and a bit by hanging out with the people I do.
I used to listen to strictly mainstream music, and now they are barely in any of my playlists. Acoustic and 'indie' all the way. :)

I was thinking about that today, the whole 'indie' thing. (Sorry, this is like, a MASSIVE tangent.) I was thinking, surely, everyone is 'indie' THEREFORE no one is indie. I don't even know, I confuse myself sometimes.

I had the conversation yesterday that made the least amount of sense and the most amount of sense. And it has been determined that I am NOT weird for trusting guys more than I trust girls with my secrets. Thanks for that Jacob. :)

strike?

There was a teacher strike today.

I went to school anyway, because I told myself that I was TOTALLY gonna get all my work done. Ha. Yeah, right, I knew that it wasn't going to work like that, but whatever.

I got some work done, my Biol and ESS Biozone pages, I went to art and sorted some of that, and was not even 1/10 of the way through my maths when Mojo, Jaimee, Shuwei and Alanna came upstairs.

They were watching Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. HOLY CRAP. It is the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life.

We watched, like, 4 out of the 12 episodes. So that was the rest of the day gone.
Meh.
Oh well, it was a really good day.

And it kinda felt like last year too, what with the number of people and how close everyone was. Nearly, but not quite.

stripy.

If today had colours, it would be stripy.
Or zig-zag. Some ups, some downs, y'know?

Good bits=school in general, I am really liking it at the mo. The really hot guy at Creative Gen who seems to like me. Eating chicken satay with Nora. Seeing a strange little SMT girl at Creative Gen. Bitching about the obnoxious principal violinist who seems to think it is HER orchestra.

Bad bits=having to put up with said obnoxious principal violinist. Opening up old wounds, literal and metaphoric. The ouchy thumb is back. So are the swollen lips. So is the confusion about a particular person. And so is the homesickness.

Hahahaha, speaking of home, my other friends are getting all thrilled that this summer will be a hot one; it has finally gotten to 18 degrees. Here I am on the other side of the world and WINTER is hotter than that, about 23 degrees, and I am all rugged up. Must be going soft.

Also, good luck to my little friendlies who start their GCSEs today. Hard luck starting with Maths, at least you guys get it out of the way quickly.

swollen.

I have been playing my clarinet for 6 hours straight today.
My head hurts, my lip is swollen, the thumb rest has mangled my thumb and the music is killing me.

Wonderful.

Time to do it all again tomorrow. But only for three hours.

Damn Creative Generations, it will take over my LIFE.

hilarity.

So me and JoJo used up our exercise allowance for this month.
We went orienteering. Yup.

My parents came too, which was pretty hilarious, but the fact that my dad actually took it seriously was funnier.

"Come ON guys, we are in it to win it"
"RUN, fatties, RUN"
"Oh we lost time on that one, better sprint to make up the time."

Dad, you are hilarious. And quotes from you are truly priceless.
Pretty sure though, after a 40 minute 57 second constant run up and down hills I could've fallen asleep...

I didn't though, and then to celebrate our active-ness we had fish and chips from Carraways (which by the way are the BEST things EVERRRR). Good job guys, we just put all that weight we lost STRAIGHT back on. Hahahaha.

Creative Generation tomorrow.
Oh joys.

It will be interesting to find out who else from the Con quit to do it this year though...

illness.

I have decided that I don't like it very much.

So, yesterday at school, I was doing just fine. Then about halfway through art I kinda just DIED. :(
I went to sick bay, but I just ended up crying, so I called my mummy and she came and picked me up.

We were walking out from the school when suddenly I vomited. Twice. In the bushes outside the school doors. So when Mr Jose gets back from Melbourne on Monday I am pretty sure there will be film footage of me vomiting outside his school waiting for him. Oh yummy.

I haven't vomited in AGES.

I went to bed when I got home and slept. That was at about 1.00pm and I have just woken up.

It is now 9.13am.

SO GOOD. :)
